RE: Restore to factory setting
You can do it from iTunes on the PC, connect your phone, click on the iPhone button and tab until you get to Restore. This will completely reinstall the most recent version of iOS and at the end it will ask if you want to set up as a new phone or if you want to restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup. Set up as a new phone and it’s done, the phone will now be at the screen where it says “Swipe to setup, if you plan to sell it just turn it off and you are done.
