Re: Roku app
I tried couple apps on With roku none of them workd for me. There were some paid once which I did not try There was one costing five dollars or so But I love not too willing to pay for it as I myself not a big roku fan Sent from my iPhone On Jul 3, 2015, at 2:04 AM, Mary Otten motte...@gmail.com wrote: I know there has been discussion in the past to the effect that the Roku is totally not accessible. But you really can't test its accessibility and less you have a Roku. Maybe there is someone out there who has a sided significant other who uses a Roku and with us have access to it with the iPhone app who has tried this. The Roku has by far the greatest selection of channels compared to AppleTV or Amazon fire TV. But it has always been an accessible. This app could change that, if it were done right. Re: Roku app
To my knowledge--as of last December--the app is still not really usable. In fact, even my sighted family prefers the physical remote over the app, finding it more convenient and streamlined. Last I checked, though, accessibility of the Roku app isn't really there. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. Re: Roku app
Well, the app has been updated at the end of June. Which is not to say they fix anything from an accessibility for you. But if your family members still have it, and you have access to that, you might want to check it out.
