I am using TuneIn Radio Pro on an iPhone 7 plus.

Lately when trying to play a station, it is very inconsistent when it comes to 
playing stations.

The other day, I had to reinstall the ap because it wanted me to sign in or 
create an account.  No matter what I did, I was not able to log back into my 
account until I uninstalled and reinstalled the program.

Still having intermittent issues with playing stations.

It's Tunein Radio pro. I can't rrmember if I paid for it or not but if I didn't

F not, then did you have a Tunein account set up?

If you do, delete the app and reinstall it and sign in.

I don't use Tune In radio that much on my ipad but the tabs are on the left 
hand side of the screen whereas at the very bottom of the sv=creen you will 
find things like stop/play, volume etc.

Tunein is absolutely brilliant on the iPhone I agree but since I've installed

Well that explains one thing maybe but why can't I use my Bluetooth keyboard 
properly?  For example if I press the key combination to go to the top of the 
screen it goes nowhere near where I can get if I touch the screen and if I use 
VO + Right Arrow to flick right it's different to what happens if I actually 
flick right on the screen.  It's odd!  Any explanations from anyone more 
experienced would be greatly appreciated.

Apps often are differently arranged on the iPad.
Check near the top for the tabs.
I've not seen TuneIN Pro on an iPad, but this is not uncommon.

there.  I’m assuming the reason I had to buy them again was because only one
ITunes library is able to sync per computer/phone?  My step son told me that
I could normally transfer purchased tones over to another library on a
different computer via a USB drive, if their wasn’t the problem of the
broken USB port on my laptop. lol I felt really bad that I did that, but
hey...accidents happen.

Thank u all for the confirmation on not having to repurchase apps.  Is this 
true for ringtones that are also purchased too? Recently, due to accidentally 
breaking the USB port on my laptop, I had to buy a couple ringtones again when 
I switched to my new desktop pc and installed ITunes on there.  I’m assuming 
the reason I had to buy them again was because only one ITunes library is able 
to sync per computer/phone?  My step son told me that I could normally transfer 
purchased tones over to another library on a different computer via a USB 
drive, if their wasn’t the problem of the broken USB port on my laptop. lol I 
felt really bad that I did that, but hey...accidents happen.

Yes there are two versions of this app. Each offers the same listing of
stations. The tuneIn Radio Pro allows for recording and alarms and does not
have advertising that the free version of Tunein does. At my last check it
was $6.99.

A strange thing keeps happening with my husbands TuneIn Radio Pro app, it
keeps crashing.  On my phone, it works fine.  I do not have the pro version
though.  I'm thinking the best way to fix his app is to uninstall it and
re-install it.   My question is, this is the first paid app I've had to
uninstall.  Will it make me purchase it again? I wouldn't think so, but just
checking with someone before I do uninstall and re-install...this way I
don't make a bigger hassle for myself? lol

 

 

We both are using the IPhone 5.

Yes, ITunes Radio is new only with Ios 7 but TuneIn Radio has been around for a 
long time.  We used it even when we had Android phones, and that has been a 
couple years  ago.  We just got our IPhone 5’s  in January of this year as we 
were eligible for upgrades. lol

Their is a free version and paid version of TuneIn Radio.  The main differences 
that my husband and I see so far are no ads of course, and the ability to 
record from any station you are listening to. It only costs $4.99 I believe to 
purchase the pro version.  Chris likes TuneIn all around because their is such 
a huge variety of things you can listen to on there. I like both TuneIn and 
IHeart Radio myself...and several other music apps as well.  I hope this 
cleared up some of your confusion.

Car mode works as well. So does the ability to add and review/use
favorites. I'm glad they fixed some of it.

Initially some elements seem a little sluggish with voice over for me since 
the update. I'll have more of a play later but it certainly seems to work 
better on the Ipad mini. Trying to hit the play, fast forward buttons etc 
before was quite difficult without swiping to them although it was doable 
with practice. All in all a definate improvement.

No the accessibility of the alarms has not been fixed. I was rather
hoping that it would have been, given that VoiceOver improvements were
specifically mentioned in the release notes. I would encourage you to
reach out to their technical support to let them know. I would also
encourage anybody trying to decide between TuneIn Pro or Ootunes to go
with the latter, which continues to shine in terms of accessibility.
