RE: Usage question for yo.tv

2013-10-06 Thread Ron Pelletier
Hi Bob,

I hadn't used Yo recently, simply because I haven't had time to watch TV.
Just this list along with some other things are keeping me busy. I don't
know if the problem is with the sensitivity of the screen in IOS 7 or what
but it keeps jumping all over the place. I didn't have that problem under
IOS 6. You are right when you say that the screen seems to refresh regularly
and send you flying.

Hope they fix that because it was a good app. As I am writing this, I am
listening to it refresh about every minute. What a pain.

If I can keep it steady long enough, there is a button called "contact us".
I'll try to hit it before I'm bounced somewhere else. I'm pretty sure they
know about it but I'd still like to report it.

Hello Ron:

Based on the note below, I see that you have experience with this program. I
am wondering if you have found a way to prevent the program from refreshing
the screen every minute or so throwing the cursor back up to single-digit
channel numbers. If you have any advice, please pass it along. Thank you for
your help.

RE: Usage question for yo.tv

2013-10-01 Thread Ron Pelletier
Hi Ioana,

I will look at it again and let you know. I haven't used it in a few weeks
since I haven't had time to watch TV. I do remember telling it to locate
me. Then I selected my provider which is Videotron and it came up with all
the channels and all the programs. It takes you to the current date and
time as soon as you open it. I do remember that you can set preferred
channels since you probably don't subscribe to all the channels on the grid.
I do remember that you can search for a given program and it will display
all the channels dates and times when it plays.

I'll be in touch off list once I have played around with it again.

Hi Ron,

Could you please give me some pointers on or off list about using yo.tv?
I set my provider, but bound that the app refreshed to often and confused
me. I also did not find a way to customize chanal lign-up.
Any tips are very welcome.

Best,

Ioana
