Hi Ian,

I don't know of anything except Apple Maps. YOu can change the zoom on Apple 
Maps to see whole countries. You get feedback as you slide a finger around the 
map.

It may be worth experimenting with Google Earth.
Otherwise, it would be something like looking up countries and their borders in 
Wikapedia or something.

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately the american printing house one was 
last updated in 2009 and is out of stock. There seems to be a niche here for an 
educational app developer.

Here is a link to one on the app store that looked promising, but it isn't very 
accessible.
I went to the app support page, and the form requires a captia that is only 
visual, so I submitted a 1 star review.
