Yes, but you can have more than one voice for Voiceover. Look in
languages and dialects secttings in Voiceover and add voices to your
language rotor. I believe that at least one more voice, Alex, will be
added when iOS8 comes out next month. I have the US, British,
Australian, Irish and South African voices installed. Mostly, I use
Daniel but also find the Australian voice, Karen, to be particularly
good. Hope that helps a bit. I love reading with the Kindle app.
