You can go to the IBooks store area and re-download the book. You won't be
charged.

Re: Ways to read books

2013-04-04 Thread Alan Paganelli
And, any other Epub books you have, you can just drop them in books folder
on your computer in my music folder, then iTunes, then iTunes media, and
lastly, books. Or just dump them in the automatically add to iTunes folder.
Then sync your phone. That's all there is to it.

As long as it's under the same account, you shouldn't have to buy it again.
Just install the book reader on the new device and sync up.

RE: Ways to read books

2013-04-03 Thread Rose Combs
My problem is slightly different, I have a book I purchased last summer
before I gave my 4 to my husband, it shows up in books in iTunes 11 but when
I go to sync I don't have an option to sync books, I'd like to get this back
on my phone as it is an iBook and not accessible otherwise, will I have to
purchase it again to get it there?

Re: Ways to read books

What's the name of the book? And, by whom?

Hello all,
I have a pretty pressing question--at least to me it is *smile*
I have been given a book recommendation. I didn't find it in the
iBookstore. I did find it at Barnes and Noble, however, it didn't say
it was a Nook Book. I would really love to read this on my iPhone.
What other ideas and places can you give me to look? I know these
things have been discussed before, but I didn't pay as much attention
to them. Thank you all for your help.

Hey Sheronda fron long time ago, I use audible.com, they are read to you
by professional readers, you can play them on your iphone if you have
oit and other portable machines, or on your computer. You pay for them,
but they have deals a lot, really good ones. Check it if that is what
you are looking for.

Re: Ways to read books

2013-03-30 Thread Arianna
PlayBooks by Google should work. At least, comments on AppleVis suggest that it
should. And Google itself put VoiceOver improvements, or something like that,
in it's app description.

Thanks,
Ari

Re: Ways to read books

2013-03-30 Thread Sharonda Greenlaw
I just checked Kobo. They don't seem to have it. I saw it at Google
books, but can we use the iPhone to read that? It's an older book; I
think that's why it's so hard to find.

Re: Ways to read books

2013-03-30 Thread Anne Robertson
Hello Sharonda,

Another place you could try is Kobo:
www.kobobooks.com

The Kobo app is accessible as long as it's set up correctly with page
transition style set to Scrolling.

Cheers,

Anne
