Re: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-07 Thread Stacy Fuehrer
Hey Rebecca. As for when you finish a level, a message will come up saying
congratulations, and prompt you what to do to select another level. I have
only finished one level and am almost done with another. As for getting to the
next screen, thus far, I have only seen questions on one screen, but we'll see
what some of the other experts of the game say. Smile.
I have only had the game since this past Sunday.
Best,
Stacy

2013-08-07 Thread Rebecca Ilniski
Hi Sarah. When you get to the bottom of the screen on the first screen of
questions, how do you get to the next screen so that you can finish the level?
Or is the level only one screen. Let me know also how do you know when you
finish the level? Or there sounds in this game?

Oh yes, I will. I usually knock out a level in an hour or two. I've just been

I don't think there is. I did find a lot of answers, particularly on levels
like Reality TV, about which I know less than nothing, by googling iAssociate +
the name of the level you are on + any clues or associations you may have.
Also, go ahead and ask me. I've completed every level except the last two or

RE: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-06 Thread Sarah Cranston
Hi Desi,

This happens because a word is right on the edge of the screen. VoiceOver can
see it, even though it doesn't appear visually. So, say you move your finger
around on the screen and find the word on the right side. Touch the word so VO
is focused on it, then scroll left with three fingers. This moves the focus so
the word is now closer to the left side of the screen. Then, when you double
tap on it, it should be editable.

HTH,

Sarah

I'm almost finished with Savor the Flavor, but an annoying thing has started to
happen. Often when I double-tap on the text field I want to enter my word in,
it jumps me down to the bottom where the hints button is. No matter how many
times I try I can't get the word to work! Any ideas?

2013-08-06 Thread Sarah Cranston
Hi Sherry,

No, there's no quick way of finding those last few stragglers. From what I've
read on the web, sighted people have the same problem we do at the end of
levels.

Following on from this discussion, when you've almost completed a level, but
there are one or two you skipped and need to go back to, is there a way to sort
the level so the unanswered questions will be at the bottom? It's sometimes
hard to find those last one or two if I've skipped them.

Thank you so much! That seems to be a perfect solution! I hope it helped
other people playing the game too! If you get down to almost the end of a
game, sometimes it would be nice to see what they expect the answers to be.
Is there a way to do this?

Hi, as far as I know there is no way to sort the words to be at the bottom you
just have to read through to find them what I do sometimes is to let my voice
over read the whole thing or you can listen for it to say a word and then say
one unsolved association if you feel around on the screen you can sometimes
find the button that has the unsolved word if not flip your page to the left or
the right and then you may find it there God bless, when PS sometimes you can
flick one finger flick to the right or to the left and then read the page again
or feel around on the screen and you may find the word also. The word that is
unsolved that you need to find Mike be across from the one that says what
unsolved association or maybe a little bit underneath or maybe a little bit up
to the left or to the right of the word it takes some doing in practice but it
does work. Finding the word I mean.

I had this problem too. Someone suggested that I turn off hints and it
seemed to fix the problem. To turn off hints, do the following:

Double tap on the tab at the bottom of the screen labelled Levels.
Double tap on the button at the top labelled Settings.
Flick to where it says Switch. Show Hints Button, Show The Hints in the user
interface, switch button on. Double tap this to turn hints off.

This should do the trick.
Double tap one of the tabs at the bottom to leave this screen.

buy levels first though. I am sorry that I don't remember. I got the game
quite a while ago. God bless, good luck, Wren PS. If you select the levels
button or the hints button I think it will tell you. Maybe when you finish
and run out of hints you can select hints and it will say Barmore hints. I
think that's how it works. I do remember now. Select the hints button and
it will say you are out offense. Do you want to buy more hints if you tap
the button again I think it will let you do that.

Thank you so much! It did do that of course, but I didn't realize it was

Re: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-05 Thread Desi Noller
I'm almost finished with Savor the Flavor, but an annoying thing has started to
happen. Often when I double-tap on the text field I want to enter my word in,
it jumps me down to the bottom where the hints button is. No matter how many
times I try I can't get the word to work! Any ideas?

Re: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-05 Thread Phil Vlasak

Hi Desi,
The developer of Ear Monsters said that the option of disabling Game Center
comes up only after canceling the game center welcome screen three times.

This could be an Apple IOS standard procedure.

It's quite okay! After reading your message, I went back in and when I
canceled the welcome screen, I was offered the option of disabling Game
Center. I honestly don't remember seeing that last night, but it sure could
have been there! Anyway, I did disable it and all is well! Thanks again!

Re: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-05 Thread Wayne Merritt
As to people's questions:
1. You can buy more hints by using aset number of tokens. You can also
buy tokens, which might be good to do if you find yourself using lots
of hints, which is easy to do on the harder levels.
2. You don't need to finish levels to go to other levels. I have lots
of unfinished levels in my iAssociate 2 game. Just go to the levels
screen, bottom of the screen, and you can choose another level.
3. Game Center appears to let you post your scores and bost about how
much of levels you have completed. If you submit your scores to the
Game Center, then your scores will be shown as compared to the over
all total of other players. However, that seems to be the only
integration with Game Center. In other words, this is not a game you
play online with others, like Words with Friends.

iAssociate 2 is the one game that I have returned to again and again
over the last 8 months or so, and it never gets old.

Regards,
Wayne

You can also buy more hints if you want to. I don't know if you have to buy
levels first though. I am sorry that I don't remember. I got the game quite a

Re: iAssociate Game Question

2013-08-05 Thread Desi Noller
It's quite okay! After reading your message, I went back in and when I
canceled the welcome screen, I was offered the option of disabling Game Center.
I honestly don't remember seeing that last night, but it sure could have been
there! Anyway, I did disable it and all is well! Thanks again!
