RE: iOS 6 and SIM Card Switching
In June, with an early beta of iOS 6, I put my AT&T SIM in it while on the plane over to the US and was indeed presented with an activation dialog. I managed to bypass it without accessing the Internet but am not sure precisely how. Subsequent to the official release of 6, I have put another network's SIM in that has never been in the phone before without this issue. Re: iOS 6 and SIM Card Switching
To add to that I have heard it put out there that VZW will not be locking their IPhone 5. I have heard you can even put an AT&T sim in it, although you will not get AT&T LTE though. Just 3G or what they call 4G. On 10/3/12, Grant Hardy wrote: > Hi all, > > I was perusing a forum the other day and came across some strange > reports from people who own unlocked iPhones on iOS 6.
