Re: iPhone 6 and Wi-Fi Issues

2014-11-05 Thread John Diakogeorgiou
The problem I reported seems to have been caused by a faulty router.
It was replaced yesterday and my problem seems to have gone away.

I've noticed a few times that the wifi goes disconnects for a few
minutes then reconnects. I am not sure though if this is caused by the
 router or the phone.

 Hi,
My girlfriend and I upgraded our 5S's to iPhone 6's today. All was well

then the problems came back. Needless to say, neither one of us are happy
campers, and I've gathered from reading articles in various blogs and an
Apple Communities forum that others are having issues with wi-fi as well.
Have any of you with iPhone 6's run into trouble with wi-fi, and if so,
 how
did you solve it? As I've said, I set the router's channel setting from
 auto
to channel 1, then back again, reset network settings, rebooted my phone
 and
then went into settingsprivacylocation servicessystem services and
 turned
off wi-fi networking. No joy. I'm tempted to raise hell with both Apple
 and
ATT, but before I do, I wanted to see what you guys have run across.

 Thanks,

 Tom

Re: iPhone 6 and Wi-Fi Issues

2014-11-03 Thread Wayne Merritt
I was having some wifi issues early on, but that ended up being a
problem with my router and the wiring coming to my apartment from
outside. I called the company I get Internet from and they were able
to fix the issues. Things have been great ever since. I have an iPhone
6 and my wife has a 5C.
