Hi Sean,
If anything I've noticed the battery life on my 4s has increased.

Re: is 6 and battery

2012-09-21 Thread Marc Rocheleau
I am running an iPhone 4 but I've also noticed an increase in battery
life. I will play music for 40 minutes while working out and before
it'd drop a few percentage points. Ever since upgrading to IOS 6.0
though, I will start my exercise at 100% and then by the time I get
back upstairs it's still at 100%. Unless it isn't registering
properly, it seems to be more efficient with power usage somehow.

Re: is 6 and battery

2012-09-21 Thread Chris
Mark and all I can duplicate the improved battery life on my iPhone 4
since upgrading to iOS 6. I have been using my iPhone heavily to check
out the upgrade of course grins, as well as receive notifications from
Facebook, Twitter, Messages etc, and it's about half way in terms of
battery life and that is after nearly 2 days from unplugging it from my
mac. Now in iOS 5 I would have to charge it about now. So another thumbs
up for Apple in my opinion.

RE: is 6 and battery

2012-09-21 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Shawn,

Make sure you empty the app switcher then turn off your phone and turn it
back on. If this doesn't help I suggest a full factory setting restore. I
think most people including myself actually notice improved battery life
with iOS 6, I have a 4S. This doesn't mean something might have gotten
messed up during the update and a restore to Factory Settings will fix this.
It's a bit of work, but well worth it if you are having issues which are not
fixed by a regular reboot. Just out of curiocity, did you empty your app
switcher and reboot the phone by turning it off and on again before you did
the update? Did you have Bluetooth on or off during the update?

Regards,

Sieghard

No, not on my iPhone 4. If anything it is the complete opposite. The
charge is about half way and this nearly 2 days after unplugging it from
my mac.

Re: is 6 and battery

2012-09-21 Thread Marc Rocheleau
It's kind of funny, I mentioned about how I still had 100% battery
power after doing exercise yesterday. Today I went exercising and did
the exact same thing -- listening to the same album for the same
amount of time without performing any extra functions, and actually
lost 2% -- go figure! lol
