Re: the Hoopla app and starting the playing of media

2021-08-26 Thread Barbara Stahl
I use this app too, but I would say that it works relatively well with VO
rather than great.
I have the latest version of the app on my phone and it won't tell you how much
of an audiobook you have left to read. Also, I don't see a way to move through
the book by chapters or sections, just the buttons that let you move in 30
second intervals. Personally, I prefer the overdrive app, but its nice to have
most audiobooks available to borrow any time you want rather than having to
wait for them to become available as you have to do with the overdrive app.

Re: the Hoopla app and starting the playing of media

2021-08-25 Thread Dan

Ok, never mind.  It turns out that unless
it gives a very definite confirmation that you have borrowed
something it hasn't borrowed it.  I had not borrowed anything.
Once I actually did though I was able to double tap on the title
and the next page does show a play button.

this app works great with VO.

won't play and I can't find a play button.

Anyone out there figure out this app?  Help.
