RE: Removing Airpods From Apple ID

2020-10-01 Thread Simon A Fogarty
, just disconnect them from your Bluetooth connection and it should tell you
that they are disconnected from all your devices.

Also,
Try checking the tips of the pods where the charging head is,

And also inside the charging case to ensure there is nothing there to have
blocked the connection,

Crazy as it sounds I had a bit of something in one of my charging ports and it
made a difference once cleaned out.

Subject: Removing Airpods From Apple ID

Being that the left one only runs for about 30 seconds, the right one for a
little more than an hour, I am going to replace them. But I understand that I
have to remove them from my ID also, before recycling them. I have logged into
my ID through settings and Safari, but I can not find anything about my
Airpods. Do I have to remove them from my ID, and if so, where do I find how to
do it? Thanks for any information.

Re: Removing Airpods From Apple ID

2020-10-01 Thread Anna Dresner
Hi Arnold,

Open Bluetooth Settings, find your AirPods, flick up or down to More Info, and
double-tap. Choose Forget This Device. A confirmation dialog comes up; choose
Forget This Device again. Another confirmation dialog comes up, explaining that
removing the airPods will remove them completely from your apple ID. Choose
Forget This device again. That should do it.

Best,
Anna
