with my experience on setting up a few phones in the pass couple of
months, voiceover should authomaticly turn on. However, if, in some
odd cases that it does not, triple click on the home button should do
the job.

You'll need a working network connection for this to work, so it may not 
work during setup if you don't have a cellular or wifi network 
connection yet.

As far as I know, it happens during initial setup. Whether you get to that 
setup by resetting, or turning on a new device for the first time, shouldn't 
matter. So long as you're at the screen that requires you to tap the button to 
begin setup, triple clicking the home button should enable VoiceOver.

While the phone is still prompting you to set things up (that is, you're not at 
the Home Screen), hit the home button three times quickly. This will turn on 
VoiceOver and let you complete the process. Note that, once it is set up, 
you'll need to go into Setings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility 
Shortcut and set it to VoiceOver. This is automatic during setup, but is not so 
once setup is complete.

Setup New Phone

Hi folks,

I didn't expect to buy a new phone so I haven't been following how to 
setup a new 6+.  How do you get VoiceOver up and running from the start?
