Just a suggestion, but since so many of us are having issues with that iOS 8.1 thread causing Outlook and at least in one message I read Thunderbird not to respond, maybe everybody should just stop replying to it as this perpetuates the issue. In any case, replying to that thread to discuss the problem really isn't part of the "iOS 8.1" topic and as Raul reminded us all, it's always a good idea to take a moment to see if a reply really should be in a thread with a particular subject.
