Re: Transferring content via home sharing
Hi Anna, Okay, I see a list of albums and I can play tracks from those albums on the target computer (that is the computer to which I want to move them). What I don't see is any button that says import. What is the best way to find this button? iTunes makes me feel so stupid. Lol! Re: Transferring content via home sharing
Hi Kimber, Try restarting iTunes on both computers. Right after the search box, you should find a control that lets you select your current library or any other on the network; this is assuming you're using iTunes 12. So on the new computer, select the library of the old computer. I don't know if there's a way to copy your entire library; i've just used it to copy individual albums. But to copy an album, I find it in the library on the computer I want to move it to, and then find the Import button. Perhaps there's a setting to copy over the whole library, though. Transferring content via home sharing
Hi All, I have a new laptop and I want to transfer my iTunes content via home sharing. I have enabled home sharing on both the old and new machines, but now I'm stumped. When I look at the home sharing submenu, the only things I see are "turn off home sharing" and something about choosing photos to share with my apple tv. From what I read on the apple support site I should see my library and all its content and some sort of copy prompt. But I'm not seeing any of that. What am I missing? Thanks for any help.
