Re: Twitterific: a few questions from a new user

2016-07-21 Thread Robert Doc Wright
Is there any way to get rid of old messages? I found messages going back a
year.

Can't answer your first question because I haven't purchased the app
yet, I'm still using the free version which doesn't offer push
notifications. But as far as your second question, while in the app,
double tap in the status bar area and it will take you to the top of
your twitter feed and even refresh content for you. The status bar area
would be where your time and signal stuff is. It's pretty cool how this
works. Android didn't really have anything like this where you could use
it universally in different apps to take you to the top and even refresh.

Re: Twitterific: a few questions from a new user

2016-07-21 Thread Gordon
I'll take a stab at answering your first question after thinking about
it for a second. In the free version there is an add that shows at the
top of the screen. Once you move past that you begin to see your twitter
feed. I'm thinking that the push notifications option in your paid
version could be in the place of where our ad is in the free version. I
can't be sure about this, but it could be the case if you see your
twitter feed under that. If that's the case you might have to enable
push notifications to get rid of it.

already read down to let's say 500, how to get back to the newest tweets
without doing a bunch of three-finger swipes?

And finally, is there a good podcast that will give me the Twitterific basics?

Thanks,
