OK, got it now. Yes, I have the same issue. Probably something we should both report to Apple Accessibility. Kimberly, sorry, what I meant to say was, I was unable to give a name to a new play list. W Was getting ready to make a holiday play list and can’t figure out how to give it a name. Instead, it’s just the first song on the list that appears to be the title. Re: Unable to rename a playlist in apple music
Dan, I can't help with the renaming problem as I am still having that same issue myself. But when you say you are unable to edit a playlist do you mean you’re unable to delete songs? I can help you with that if that’s what you mean. In order to remove songs from an existing playlist, first double tap the more button at the top of the screen. Once you have entered the playlist you want to edit. You will then see an edit button and you want to double tap that. Go down to the song that you want to remove and swipe up with one finger. I believe the first option is delete, and if you double tap, that song will be deleted from the playlist. Re: Unable to rename a playlist in apple music
Kimberly and others, I am an Apple Music subscriber and have encountered the same things you’ve described in your message. I can neither edit an existing playlist or assign a title to a new one. Can anyone help with this? Unable to rename a playlist in apple music
Hi all, I think this problem has been around for a couple of iOS releases now. Using voiceover on my iPhone, I am unable to edit/change the title of playlists. It doesn't matter if it is a playlist I created myself or a new playlist I am attempting to create. I double tap the field containing the name of the playlist I am unable to navigate by character or to delete whatever name is in the field. By positioning the cursor at the beginning of the field I am able to type additional characters in front of any existing text, but I can't otherwise edit the name. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? It makes managing my playlists really difficult. Thanks for any info.
