Hi Kathy,

I just tried this for the first time in Skype and it seemed to work just fine 
in portrait mode. As soon as I double tapped on "Record Message", focus now 
became the "Cancel Recording" button, then a swipe right showed me the 
recording time and another swipe right put me on the "Sent Message button".

They don’t make it obvious, but if you turn rotation lock off, and put in 
landscape mode, you can record a message, and find the buttons so that you can 
more easily stop after recording. The same holds true with video calls and 
finding were to use back facing camera, at Cetera. Voiceover is a little muted, 
but doable.
