Re: a quick question about updating my iPhone

2019-08-08 Thread Richard Turner
Yes. It sounds like you did it correctly, but Apple was behind in having it
realize you had updated.
I've seen this kind of thing before where you did the update, then told there
was an update.
I just power off and back on when that happens and it clears it up.

a quick question about updating my iPhone

2019-08-08 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
Hi to all. I seem to have successfully updated my iPhone to 12.4.
This morning I took a quick look at my phone and told there was an
update available to 12.4. I said ok when I was asked if I wanted to
update. I had to enter in my passcode then I saw a message verifying
update
. I waited a couple minutes, then I got a message saying try again
and I reentered my passcode. I went to settings general about and saw
my phone now says 12.4. I then shut down my phone and restarted my
phone. Did I do the update process the correct way.

Having issues with updating my Iphone 4S

2013-09-12 Thread Krister Ekstrom
Hello all,
This may touch forbidden ground for this list, but if so, please tell me. I'm
running IOS 7 Beta as a developer and i want to upgrade to the GM (golden
master) but i can't. As soon as i try updating the Phone, which i have to do
from ITunes i get an error message stating that i can't update my IPhone
because an unknown error occurred, the error code is 4027. Has anyone
experienced this and how can i fix it if at all?

Re: Having issues with updating my Iphone 4S

2013-09-12 Thread Jessie
I usually do not touch on the subjects but since I am a developer as well I can
tell you how to do it. what you have to do is within iTunes you have to find
the restore button and hit shift and if you're on a Mac or shit or ask actually
option shifting if you're in a Mac and shifting and to review on the PC. and
then after that you must find where you stored your file for the GM release and
then click on it and your iPhone will restore keep in mind that after you do
this unless if you have the new were iTunes U will not be able to talk to
restore your backup that you've already done. if you need anything else do not
hesitate to write to me off list.

Updating my Iphone

2013-05-15 Thread JoJo and Clinton
I recently updated my Iphone 4S software from IOS 5.1 to the latest version.
My nephew helped me and after it rebooted he said that it asked me to enter my
password. Is this normal? Does everyone have to do this? Thank you so much.

Re: Updating my Iphone

2013-05-15 Thread Woody Anna Dresner
Hi,

I don't remember for sure, but I would imagine that it's normal to have to
enter your password, especially if you use iCloud for backup.

Best,
Anna
