Using Apps While On The Phone In iOS 7
Now that iOS 7 is officially out, I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem I am. I've been testing iOS 7 and I even noticed this problem in the betas as well but I was hoping that app updates or even the final release of iOS 7 would fix it. I tend to use apps while I'm on the phone and for the most part this is fine. However, I have found that some apps don't work properly in iOS 7 when you are on a call. Fleksy is totally unusable while on the phone. I usually text a fair amount so this is a big disappointment to me. In iOS 6 I could use it no problem while on a call. Another app that has problems while in a call is dice world. Dice world is usable but if you use the vo hints to tell you your score, they don't read while on a call. This isn't a big deal for me but it is interesting to note that some apps seem to not function as expected while on a call. I had a couple of other examples but honestly they aren't coming to me at the moment. Has anyone else had this problem with these apps or with other apps? Maybe I'm the only strange one that uses other apps while on a call. :) Just thought I'd put this out there to see what experiences others have had. -- Earle Msn: peterson...@sympatico.ca Skype, Twitter, Facebook, and Yahoo: rowdyamerican Aim: rowdyamerican28 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Who is your provider? You do know that if you are with Verizon you can't use apps which use data while you are on a call, right? Well as a VO user I thought it wouldn 't be possible to do this and besides, when I am on a call, I am listening to or speaking to the caller. Just not so hot at the multi-tasking thing, I guess. I am in Canada. I use Telus and I never experienced these issues in iOS6. I think I started to notice these issues in beta 5 or 6 of iOS 7. -- Earle Msn: peterson...@sympatico.ca Skype, Twitter, Facebook, and Yahoo: rowdyamerican Aim: rowdyamerican28 On 2013-09-21, at 9:16 AM, Dan Murphy danmin...@gmail.com wrote: Well as a VO user I thought it wouldn 't be possible to do this and besides, when I am on a call, I am listening to or speaking to the caller.
