message to YouTube feedback, which you get to buy double tapping on your 
account, then flicking right until you find feedback, double tapping on that, 
then write and send message.

also quit the app in the switcher and attempted to relaunch it but it
still crashes consistently on a playlist.

That behavior starts to sound like when the phone's resources are maxed out.

I haven't used playlists in YouTube, so I'm not sure, just guessing.
