advancing with the bard app
hi, I was reading along with the bard app last night and came to the end of a side. I just figured that the book would continue with the next side as everything is now digital. The same side started to play over again. when I looked in the options to advance, such as chapter, etc, there was no option for side. That is a book that was converted from cassette and some of them seem to have this problem. You can only advance by chapter, or level 1, level 2 and the like, so you might try bookmarks if you put any in, so you may want to try one of those if they are available. It would be a good idea to contact your regional library and report the title and author so perhaps they will fix it. If it is repeating the whole side 1, you could check the time, and do a double-tap and hold on the fast-forward button and try to find where side 2 begins. That is a glitch on the part of the library who made the book. I have haven't a few of my books as well. It starts reading way further back so I have to just fast-forward until I get to the new stuff. They didn't do the digital books exactly correctly. Contacting them and letting them know that there is an issue might fix that. Hi, Most of the time, BARD Mobile will continue to play after a side break without your having to do anything. There is a bug, though, that means that sometimes when you're playing a book that was originally analog and converted to digital, you'll hear an end-of-side announcement and playback will jump back a ways. Skip forward until you find where you were listening, and playback should continue normally the second time.
