How to move an app to a different page on the I phone with the Amazon Bluetooth basic keyboard.

2016-02-10 Thread Terri Elliott
Hi. I listened to that podcast on moving an app from a folder by pressing
control option shift and the letter m. It says that it is moving the app from
the folder and then you're supposed to press the escape key and according to
the instructions you find where you want to move it too by scrolling and then
when you find where you want to move it too you press control option and the
letter h to close out the editing. but I can't figure out how to move it to a
different page on the phone. The app is on page 3 at the end of page 3 but I
don't want it on that page. I want to move it on page 1. How do I go about
moving it? Thanks.

Terri

What sort of instructions are you looking for? I have the amazon

I'm not sure what instructions you're looking for but here's a source

Hi Mario,

I unfortunately didn’t keep your message so I can’t reply to it, but I
had kept that link to that gaming website where you pointed out a picker
box at the bottom which you said wasn’t accessible with Safari. So, the
quick answer is that yes, if you double tap on it it doesn’t pop up with
the choices where you can flick up and down to select one. However, you
can access the options if you double tap and hold on it, then do another
double tap. I think it said “General Discussion, 3 of 9” or something
like that. When I flicked up it did go to the next item, but I couldn’t
go to the next one after that as it immediately loaded the site fresh
and I had to go back to the picker, do another double tap and hold
followed by a double tap and then I could once again flick. It seems a
split tap also works which makes no sense since a split tap and a double
tap is supposed to be the same, but in this case the double tap did
nothing whereas the split tap did. If you have “Form Controls” in your
rotor, you can turn the rotor to that and easily locate the picker that
way, then do your double tap and hold followed by a double tap. It may
not be ideal and I don’t know if it works for all such picker controls,
but it maybe a work-around for the time being.

Sieghard

RE: amazon Bluetooth basic keyboard:

2016-01-19 Thread Charles E. Black
I am trying to use the commands as listed with the standard blue tooth keyboard
and they aren't working. For example, command +h is supposed to be like
pressing the home key on the phone. I have not found this to work considering I
am pressing the right key. I am pressing the bottom left key for the command,
or vo, key and the h but it is not performing the click action. My command
button isn't working with any of the keys. Is there something I have done
wrong? Is there something I need to do?

Hi Mario,

I unfortunately didn’t keep your message so I can’t reply to it, but I had kept
that link to that gaming website where you pointed out a picker box at the
bottom which you said wasn’t accessible with Safari. So, the quick answer is
that yes, if you double tap on it it doesn’t pop up with the choices where you
can flick up and down to select one. However, you can access the options if you
double tap and hold on it, then do another double tap. I think it said “General
Discussion, 3 of 9” or something like that. When I flicked up it did go to the
next item, but I couldn’t go to the next one after that as it immediately
loaded the site fresh and I had to go back to the picker, do another double tap
and hold followed by a double tap and then I could once again flick. It seems a
split tap also works which makes no sense since a split tap and a double tap is
supposed to be the same, but in this case the double tap did nothing whereas
the split tap did. If you have “Form Controls” in your rotor, you can turn the
rotor to that and easily locate the picker that way, then do your double tap
and hold followed by a double tap. It may not be ideal and I don’t know if it
works for all such picker controls, but it maybe a work-around for the time
being.

Regards,

Sieghard
