RE: another headset question
If you knew what kind of crap I have gone through with headsets lately you would not be giving me grief about saying thanks. This headset is not for me. It is for someone else who has gone through a dozen headsets in the last few years either by losing or breaking them and I can say thanks out of a profound relief that these are for once inexpensive and not a set of $90 headset that will get lost or broken in a month. Any time you feel the need to moderate that go for it. RE: another headset question
Hi Kimber, Not sure if you knew this, but if you have Apple Care I believe you can get two free earpod replacements. If you are near an Apple Store you can just go in and they will give you a new set on the spot otherwise you can call Apple and once they established you have Apple Care, they will send you a new set. You They do ask for the old pair to be returned back to them in the same packaging that the new earpods come in, all you have to do is remove the label and a return label is underneath, and you do have to give them a credit card which they preauthorize for what the earpods cost and should you not return the defective ones, they will charge you. The same applies to the Lightning cable which comes with the phone. I just did this not too long ago and as always the service was great. I realize that earphone preferences are about as subjective as TTS voice preferences but I also have to say that I find the Apple earpods. To beat the most useful and the best value out there. If I needed to search for replacement units for these for a 5S on amazon US store what are these called Apple iPods? iPodders? Thanks in advance. Re: another headset question
I have to agree with this assessment. I have several earbuds/earphones which I've bought over the years -- everything from the cheapest of the cheapest to a set of Bose noise-cancelling earbuds which I use for serious listening. But for everyday use like audiobook listening and phone calls, I reach most often for the apple earpods. In fact I like them so well that I just replaced the ones that came with my phone and no longer worked in one ear. RE: another headset question
I find the Apple Earpods which come with the iPhone to be perfect for calls and even for listening to audio books. I do understand that apparently some people say they don’t fit them well and fall out easily, but I am fortunately one of those where this is not a problem at all. If I put them in even just lightly they stay put quite well and I can still hear I would say 90 to 95% Of what is going on around me. I have a pair of $200 Hi-Fi headphones which I use occasionally if I want to listen to music and want best possible quality and while they have a remote and microphone, people tell me they don’t sound as good for phone calls than the $30 Apple Earpods.
