This is especially true where iOS devices are concerned. The update will almost certainly be inevitable one day. Even when restoring the software to your phone using iTunes, you'll be forced to install the latest version. If my iPhone updates automagically, I will be quite upset. Let's hope this isn't true. I went through a purposeful exchange to get a 5, that was not updated to 7. If they do create an iOS that won't run on a five, hopefully it wouldn't be for awhile. I am betting I'll be able to run six on my five until my favorite app won't work. That is the likely scenario. A couple of weeks ago somebody also posted that iOS 7 installed on their phone automatically and I mean installed not just downloaded and there is just no way it would do so because you just have to double tap I Agree and then double tap it a second time. Considering that more than 65% of IPhones have been updated to 7 I don't see the big deal.
