Re: cleaning up an IPhone

2015-05-13 Thread Keith B.
Hi, all. There is an app in the App Store called Kruptos (don't ask me
where it got its name) that will clean up junk files on the iPhone, which
will generally give one a little more storage space. Also, I use an app
called Battery Doctor, which, though not the most accessible, can be used
to clean up junk as well.

RE: cleaning up an IPhone

I had a problem like that once. I don't remember how I fixed it, but it had
something to do with iCloud. If he has Apple care, call them.

Hi, all. I'm asking this question for someone who isn't on the list. He
has a 16 gig IPhone 4S. He has about 4 pages of apps, no pictures, music,
books or movies. He's being told he has 0 bytes free. I recall that there
is an app for cleaning up the phone, but can't find what it's called. Could
an app like that be helpful for him, or is there something else he should
do? Thanks.

God bless!

Re: cleaning up an IPhone

2015-05-12 Thread Richard Turner
They should go to settings, general, usage
and double tap on the first button that says manage storage.
That will show all the apps and how much space they are using.
There may be some rather large apps.
I have an app, Audubon NW that takes 1.0 GB.
HTH,
Richard
