Move to a text field and make sure it is editing. Then use the rotor
geture until you go to edit. Then use the flick down with one finger
gesture until you hear copy. Then double tap. Same goes for pasting.

making the router work for example getting the edit option.

RE: copying and pasting on the iphone

2012-12-03 Thread Alex Stone
Ted, it's not a router, it's a rotor. The way it was explained to me was to
imagine you are turning a knob like a volume knob on a radio on the Iphone
screen. TO be fair it took me a while to get used to it too.
Cheers
Alex

Re: copying and pasting on the iphone

2012-12-03 Thread Shane Clark
Hi,
To get the rotor to edit mode, You must be in and edit field, then once you
turn your rotor, edit mode will show up. Also to Select text, you can use the
pinching gesture. That is where you take your fingers and put two of them on
the screen, and slide them slightly apart, to select text. I am still trying to
get this one down as well. For me, it's kind of tricky.

Re: copying and pasting on the iphone

2012-12-03 Thread Mickey Quenzer
It would be good if you could move the edit field between the word and
character fields the this way it would be easier to edit text. I find that
changing the router settings to words before doing the pinch gesture allows you
to select more text
