Exactly. Reply sends your message to only the first address in the "to" field; 
reply all sends it to every address in the to or cc fields. On the Mac, reply 
all is cmd-shift-r if you want to look at the difference.

So if I were to use the reply all command would this then get to everyone on an 
emailing list?
I understand reply but if I were to summarise reply all, would this option be
