Re: facebook on IOS10 there's a new update
I am not having any accessibility issues either. I don't use Facebook a lot, but it works for what I do use, namely checking notifications, posting, and reading a few posts. The only annoying problem I have with Facebook is that it keeps asking me to add my mobile number. No matter how many times I hit the Not Now button, that only postpones that prompt until the next time I load the app. Everything's working fine other than that annoyance. Davy Like I stated in my previous message; I am not having any accessibility problems with the latest update of Facebook. All links are read out & photos are being described, where applicable. My complaint with Facebook is that they might as well give up on the photo description. A friend shared 2 MRI photos 1 of a brain which was of her son's brain which is abnormal due to his disability & the other photo was of what a normal brain looks like. Facebooks photo describing said both photos were food! Donna > > I heard positive rumors about the new update. Re: facebook on IOS10
Hi Jeffrey, Since I have not seen an answer to your question, I am replying to your post. Please be aware that this is only my assessment of the situation and not actual knowledge. In my opinion, I would think that the delete this account button would delete the Facebook account from your phone and not from the Facebook server. If it were deleting from the server, I would assume that the button should be labeled cancel account. In either case, I would think that double tapping this button would bring up a dialogue confirming if you are sure of your choice which you could cancel if you did not want to perform the selected action. You could also try enabling VoiceOver hints if you do not have these turned on. Sometimes, there is a hint that is associated with a button in question if the app developer has programmed this. facebook on IOS10
Hi, I have an inaccessible screen on my Facebook app now, which I am told says I need to go into the settings app on my phone, and manage my passwords from there. Once I get there, everything looks right to me, but there is a delete this account button to choose. Could it actually be that I have to delete this entry from my phone in order to use the Facebook app now?i find this to be very counter-intuitive, and I really don't want to delete my Facebook account. It's not clear to me if this deletes the Facebook account from their servers, or just a newly unnecessary feature from my iPhone settings. Anybody know?
