Josh: I just downloaded it and after it was installed, it asked me for permission to access the camera. If so, you want to hold the phone anywhere from 4 to 8 inches above the bill and it should tell you the denomination and whether it is the front or back of the bill. You can go into the main phone settings, and find eyenote and make sure it is allowed to use the camera, and you can add a menu where you can choose between speech, tones or vibrations, but most people will want to stick with speech. It's been a while since I've used this app, but while you're waiting for someone else to chime in, launch the app and then just point your camera at your bill. I think that's all there is to it.
