I figured it out. I could go through the steps but one of the buttons is
mislabeled and once I discovered that, all is well.

Does anyone remember how to delete an app in IOS 10? It is different than
in 12. I have tried everything, but apparently not the right everything so
if someone remembers that would be great! Thanks much.

To delete an app from your phone:

1, Swipe to the app you want to delete.

2, Flick up with one finger until you hear edit and double tap. This will put
it in edit mode.

3, Just double tap on the app you want to delete while in edit mode. A dialog
will pop up to confirm that you want to delete it. Just Swipe to delete and
double tap.

4, To exit edit mode, just hit the home button.

Hope this helps.

How to delete an app with Braille.

2016-11-30 Thread Mr. Ed
I am on a deaf/blind group and this information was posted there. I do not
use a Braille keyboard myself. So here below is the instructions that will
help the person delete apps on the I devices.

1. Find the app you want to delete.

2. Press space with 3-6-7-8. The display should show "movingwas followed by
the name of the app.

3. If you find that the display has moved focus to another app, move back to
the app you wish to delete.

4. After finding the app, press a CRB, you will then be asked if you want to
delete the app.

5. Move to the "delet" button and activate it.

Re: How to delete an app

2013-10-27 Thread RobH.
Two ways:-
1. highlight the app on screen, double tap and hold until phone makes that
warble sound, then double tap to delete.

2. Go to settings/general/useage, find the app in there, click show all
apps if you can't find it. when found, double tap to get into the details,
find the delete button and double tap that.

Hth, RobH.
