Is Do Not Disturb on? You can toggle this in Control Centre. Changing ringtones
is accomplished by going to settings sounds.

RE: how to get my Iphone sounds back

2015-07-05 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Go to Settings, Sounds and under the heading Ringer and Alerts check the
sound volume, maybe it's at 0 in which case you wouldn't hear your ringtone or
any alert tones. You can flick up with one finger to raise this and I recommend
that after you have it at the volume you want that you flick right once more
and turn off Change with buttons. This will prevent your volume getting
accidently lowered again with the volume buttons.

You can then swipe right a couple more times and find the Ringtone button.
Double tap on it and here you will find a list of available ringtones you can
choose from. Double tapping on them will play them and whatever you played last
will also be selected as your ringtone.

Regards,
Sieghard
