2020-06-18 Thread Jan Stirbens
Hello,

I use a Mac computer. Is there a utility to convert eBooks to ePub books?
What is the name of the utility for windows computers? Maybe there is a mac
version.

The utility is called Codex, and here is the link but it is for Windows and I
have no idea if there is any similar utilities for Macs:

RE: iOS eBooks

2020-06-18 Thread Richard Turner
No.
Only Kindle and only with the older version of Kindle for PC mentioned on his
site.
The reason I never purchase Apple eBooks is that I don’t like reading in the
Apple Books app and I’ve not found anything that wasn’t on bookshare that
wasn’t available in Kindle that I wanted to read.
I should say that as far as I can tell, Kindle has everything Apple has and
possibly more.

But, I don’t really know since I avoid Apple Books.

Richardm,

I know this would be a long shot
But I wondered if there is an emulator like wime that you could run something
like this in?

Might be worth a look but as I said a very long shot.

I use an online site that is free. I do this a lot and there is another that I
use to convert .epub files to .txt the links are:
https://ebook.online-convert.com/convert-to-epub

https://convertio.co/epub-txt/

These work very well for me. Hope this is helpful.
