Re: iPHone book (was Re: Seeking your thoughts about Calendar app)
Hi Anna. That makes sense. I'll be publishing an article on the changes with accessibility in iOS 7 the day it is released, but certainly covering all of what you do is beyond the scope of an article. It's also cool to see what other things people find in the new releases, since there is no easy way to know what is new and how it impacts VoiceOver users. I, too, use Siri to set up an event, though I sometimes need to edit in order to add info to the appointment. Have you worked with multiple calendars? VO won't read the calendar a particular event belongs to, unless you open the event. Nor will it give you a status update when you enable/disable a calendar's visibility. You can make the update, but VO won't tell you whether you're turned the calendar on or off. I really enjoyed your iOS book, by the way. -shelly On Aug 16, 2013, at 10:31 AM, Woody Anna Dresner wrote: > Hi Shelly, > > I use siri to make appointments when I can because it's faster. iPHone book (was Re: Seeking your thoughts about Calendar app)
Hi Scott, I'm glad you liked that format. The plan is for me to do an iOS 7 book for NBP, but rather than having an iOS 5 book and two supplements, they'd like me to do one integrated book again. It's less confusing for new users. Best, Anna On Aug 16, 2013, at 12:35 PM, Scott Davert wrote: > Hi Anna. > I just wanted to say thank you for throwing the iOS 6 update book out > there.
