iTunes: books tab is missing under the section for my iPhone
The subject says it all. I'm using Windows 8.1 32-BIT with the latest version of iTunes, and an iPhone 5S with the latest version of iOS. Bizarrely, when I select the iPhone button in iTunes to change settings for my iPhone, the Books tab is now missing. There is summary, info, apps, music, tones, iTunes U, and photos, but no books. iBooks and audiobooks that I've synced to my iPhone are still on the phone, but I obviously can't sync new ones or delete existing ones. Any idea what could be going on here? Thanks, Grant -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group. You can’t sync books with iTunes anymore, since iBooks became a Mac app. I believe you can sync them with iCloud, however. HtH, Teresa On the other hand, there are different fingers. RE: iTunes: books tab is missing under the section for my iPhone
Hello Theresa, I am running the latest version of iTunes for Windows with my 5 S and there is a Books tab on both the SideBar and across the devices Tab, just as always. I don't sync my devices to iTunes on the Mac so don't know what's going on there. Re: iTunes: books tab is missing under the section for my iPhone
Ah, sorry about that. It’s in the device, but not one of the computer playlists, as I recall. I think there is a sync setting that would need to be adjusted there, but I’m not going to try detailing it for windows, since I no longer remember how to find it in windows. I was confused because on the Mac, I got the “your books have moved” message, but I’m sure that’s because I have iBooks on the Mac. sorry for the confusion.
