Re: [EXTERNAL] RE: iTunes for business working now
No you need to uninstall the current version of iTunes and restart your computer to flush everything out. I had to install it twice because I didn't restart. Be sure to uninstall all of the apple stuff after you uninstall iTunes. The Apple software updates and the Apple support stuff. Re: iTunes for business working now
I was running the beta for the past couple of months. So I got the GM last Wednesday. It all seems to be working fine. I went in and saw my most recent backup that I did manually at 1:04 this afternoon. You can tab through things like you could prior to the most recent version of iTunes and get to the button to see all about your iPhone. but you might have to delete the iTunes folder from your music folder to get past that error about it not being able to read a file because the file was created by a recent version of iTunes. I'm running windows 10 on my PC. On 9/17/2018 3:43 PM, M. Taylor wrote: That's great news, Gordon. Have you updated to iOS 12 yet? RE: [EXTERNAL] RE: iTunes for business working now
Keith, The short answer to your question is, no. In order to use iTunes for business, after having installed the latest version of standard iTunes, you will have to first delete the latest version and then install business. However, you must also save your current .I.T.L. files in order to save your current iTunes library. Before updating, I suggest that you google how to prepare your iTunes library for downgrading to iTunes for business. It is not a difficult process but one that you should thoroughly understand before beginning the process.
