ibooks across all devices
Hello all, I am trying to get all books and pdf files I have in Ibooks to appear on all devices, Ipad, Iphone, mac, no matter which device they first appear on. Re: ibooks across all devices
I don't think you can unless you download the books from the iBooks Store. You do this by turning on books in settings, iTunes and App Stores under the automatic downloads heading. In iTunes on your mac or PC go to Preferences, store and check the appropriate box in the appropriate group. Re: ibooks across all devices
ok, got it. I had downloaded a pdf document from dropbox on my Ipad into itunes, and thought It would appear in Ibooks on both the phone and Ipad because of Icloud. Perhaps what I could do is to simply import the documents into itunes, and then sync the phone and the ipad. But I wonder if all of the bookmarks and places would be maintained. If you have your icloud set up on both devises, it should show on both devises with all your bookmarks in place and all content in tact. What happen is that your books or content will sit on icloud, and you may need to manually download each of the books to your ibooks again. Joanne Chua The flip side of Inclusion is Exclusion. I seem to recall that books are easy to sync but PDF's not so?
