To start a new topic on this, the VIPhone users list, hit compose a new email
in your preferred email program.
In the to field write viphone@googlegroups.com
And fill in the subject field, then the body of the message.
Never hit reply, then change the subject line as that just confuses the thread.

Changing the subject line is also something that should be encouraged.

BTW, hijacking just means taking control of something without permission. Of
course, this is something that could be done by terrorists, but it's not a form
of terrorism.

Posting New Topic On Google Groups Mobile Site?

2014-07-13 Thread Teresa Cochran
Hi, all,

Just wondering if anyone has found a way to post a new topic in a group from
this site? I had to go to the full site. I'm a member of some groups for which
I don't choose to receive email, so this would be a handy thing to be able to
do.

Thanks,
Teresa

Hi,
This is so funny. I was just browsing this list using the mobile version of
Google Groups and stumbled upon exactly the same problem.
I did figure out how to reply to the message thread you are reading, but not
how to post the new one.

Let me know what you find out.

Best,
