Do you have the typing mode set to touch typing? That way when you touch a
number or letter and then lift your finger it is entered. Much faster than
double tapping every time.
You could also set up your fingerprint. It takes some patience to get that set
up because it takes its sweet time deciding it has enough of your fingerprint
to know it is you, which is a good thing.
