The guts of the device, workings on one side and battery/radio on the other
(I assume), rest between your ear and head. There is an arm that loops along
your head and over the ear and then into the ear where the bud at the end of
that arm rests just inside the ear. They do not go into the ear canal, as do
some noise cancelling or sound isolating ear buds. The buds are on a stem
that can extend and swivel, so you can fit them to any situation.
I am sure I am not doing any justice with my description. I would assure
you, though, unless you have a very small head or ears these would suit you.
