The support email you gave me does not appear to work. When I enter on it, I get the page cannot be displayed message. Interestingly, the link to get assistance with an apple account on their site doesn't even activate when I enter on it. This is becoming really frustrating, but thank you for your help. Hello, This is an email address not a website, so if anything it should open your email account. Anyhow, you can always just send an email and type the address in manually or copy and paste it. problem accessing my apple account
Hello, I forgot my password and have been trying to reset. However, when I type in my email to receive a message that will allow me to reset, the message does not show up in my inbox. It has always done so before, so I don't know what the problem is. So, I thought I would just create a new account, but when I attempt to give the same email address, I'm told an account already exists with that address. Why is the email not showing up. I have looked in my spam/junmail folder, but it's not there either. Any assistance would be appreciated, as there are several aps I want to download to my iphone. Hi Gayle, You definitely do not want to sign up for a new Apple account. As you already found out, you can't sign up for an Apple ID with the same email address twice and if you were to register another Apple ID with another email address, then none of your previous purchases would be available to you. All app, music, movie etc. purchases are tied to your Apple ID and whichever email address you use. You can change your Apple ID email address, but if you sign up for a new one it will be a blank/empty account.
