RE: Saving Battery wit Notification Style Banner, Sound Bedges?

2021-11-13 Thread Richard Turner
Yes, turn off any you do not want.

Badges, shows the number of notifications.
Sounds, is just that, a sound plays.
Banners, is how it is displayed on the screen.
But, just open the notifications for a specific app, and turn them off at the
top of that screen and move on to the next app.

Subject: Saving Battery wit Notification Style Banner, Sound Bedges?

Hi, Group.
I use iPhone8 with iOS15.1.
I receive a lot of unwanted notifications that drains the battery heavily, how
can I get rid of them, please? If I go to Notification in settings, VoiceOver
says Banner, Sound and Bedges With every app, should I assume that any app that
says Banner, Sound and Bedges is consuming my battery?
Should I turn all the unwanted apps off?
What does
Banner, Sound and Bedges mean?
Sorry for that many questions.
Thanks much for your help.

You should also clear the app switcher.

Re: saving battery?

2012-07-07 Thread Michael Feir
Don't forget to turn off location services when you're not using that
feature. It also drains battery power. You may want to look for an
external battery like the Mophie Juicepack Boost I purchased. There
are doubtless better options for portable batteries but they'll cost
more. Hope that helps. Good luck on your trip.

Hi Jessica,

Set Mail to check manually rather than automatically so that it only checks
when you have the Mail app open. Turn off Location Services unless you are
using them.

Best,
Anna
