Re: sending lithium batteries
I have an 888 number for Amazon customer service which does work. As it turns out in order to access her order and this person is New Zealand so I don't know if those numbers you provided will work… I need the billing address not of her New Zealand bottom of this other place in Portland Oregon which either was the seller or the person Amazon sent it to. It's a little overly complicated. Anyway it does sound like they might be willing to take it back even though this was purchased months ago at this point. Now all I need for them to determine whether they will take it back is the address in Portland Oregon. It is on a piece of paper right here under my handbag cayenne FB reader didn't seem to scan it well enough for me to get the complete address so off to the neighbors I go. What is a order number good for if not to access the person's account and the item in question? Re: sending lithium batteries
Richard, the second number you provided is the one that works. As a matter fact, I called that one yesterday and spoke with a representative concerning an order I placed. Re: sending lithium batteries
Your friend should call Amazon. I have two numbers for some reason, try: (800) 201-7575 Or (866) 216-1072 "By doing what you love, you inspire and awaken the hearts of others." - Satsuki Shibuya (Sent from my iPod 6) On Oct 19, 2016, at 5:55 AM, Deidre Muccio <deidreandlou...@gmail.com<mailto:deidreandlou...@gmail.com>> wrote: Deidre Begin forwarded message: From: "deidre muccio" <deim...@verizon.net<mailto:deim...@verizon.net>> Date: October 19, 2016 at 8:51:40 AM EDT To: "'Deidre Muccio'" <deidreandlou...@gmail.com<mailto:deidreandlou...@gmail.com>> Subject: sending lithium batteries Reply-To: <deim...@verizon.net<mailto:deim...@verizon.net>> Hey all, A friend in NZ ordered the item I will paste below. She bought this to charge her phone while away from home and wanting to access data on her phone on the spot. Plus this power bank appears to have a talking chip in it. Problem is it is not feasible to ship it by air and via UPS the charge would be triple what she paid for the thing. What am I supposed to do with this thing. She was told by someone she thought knew how this would work, to have Amazon ship it to yet another place that begins with a Y and something I've never heard of before. They too could not ship it so she is still out one power bank and $44. No one has looked at the box to check shipping method or price so I don't know yet who paid for that and how it made it here. In the new 2016 definitions for transport of lithiam batteries it says that batteries inside equipment have different regulations. What does that even mean? The regulations themselves are dizzying. It seems if the buyer is to recoup her $44 I will need to find someone locally to come pick it up! Any ideas?
