I had never heard of this gesture, I am glad it is there for those who want it. I won't use it, though, being that I want to read what I am about to send,   to make sure it doesn't have any errors, and   is what I really want to send. Arnold Schmidt Sent from  Arnold's  iPhone S E 3On Mar 16, 2024, at 10:59 AM, Jennie Facer wrote:I just did that the other day, so no, I’m not experiencing this behavior.Jenn

RE: sending text messages using braille screen input

2024-03-16 Thread Richard Turner
OK, that does work once I realized that since I am writing in screen away mode,
three finger swipe up is toward my head and the three finger swipe indeed sends
a text message.

The Apple list of gestures says the three finger swipe up also enters a
carriage return when not in a text message, which it does, but it also says to
move to a new line, a two finger swipe right works, which it does as well.

VoiceOver says “new line” for both commands.

Perhaps the two finger swipe right is a soft return while the three finger
swipe up is a hard return?

In any case, I appreciate knowing I can send a text more easily.

sending text messages using braille screen input

2024-03-16 Thread Cory Jackson
Hi all,
I have noticed over the last few versions of Ios that it is no longer possible
to perform a 3 finger swipe up to send a text while in braille screen input
mode.
Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?
Regards:
Cory Jackson
