turning voice over on and off while on a call

2014-11-25 Thread 'Candy Lowe' via VIPhone
Hello everyone,
There are times when I would like to be able to turn voice over on or off
during a call. There are times when I turn voice over off right before I put
the ear to begin talking, but, there are other times that I don't know I will
need to do that. For one instance, my 94 year old father lives with my husband
and me. Sometimes people call me, and then would like to speak to him. If I
leave voice over on, he seems to have a problem. If I turn it off during the
call, I get a lot of feed back, and the only way I can fix this is to put in a
pair of headphones and fix it that way. Any suggestions from any one?

If you go under settings then general then excess ability, there is a
accessibility shortcut but you can choose where you can triple click home to
toggle voiceover on and off quickly.
