Re: using iPhone on any carrier
Yep, seems like verizon ones are the ones to get, can use them everywhere else but Sprint. You can do it two ways with Straightalk. You can use the unlocked sim slot, or you can do the bring your own device thing and they will set it up on the Verizon network. It depends which one provides better coverage. I don't know if used VZW 5S's can do the bring your own transfer, I know that with Sprint, it's 5 and lower on iPhones. - Original Message - From: Julian To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, May 08, 2014 7:21 PM Subject: Re: using iPhone on any carrier Hi Pinky, Verizon's iPhone five, 5C and 5S have their Sim port unlocked which means that you should be able to use any GSM carriers Sim card with those phones. Hi Pinky, Verizon's iPhone five, 5C and 5S have their Sim port unlocked which means that you should be able to use any GSM carriers Sim card with those phones. I have a friend who bought an used IPhone. I think it is an used iPhone from Verizon. He wanted to get this iPhone connected to Straight Talk.
