try to do a reset by going to settings, general, reset. You can either
reset all of your settings but retain all your apps or erase all content
and settings which is self explanatory.

After you delete the voice mail, you will see a clear all button.  Double
tap that, then confirm with clear all again.  They'll be gone.  No need for

Once you have deleted all of your voice mails, you will see the words deleted 
messages in that screen. Double tap, then look for the clear all button, 
located right above the tabs at the bottom of the screen. Double tap, and you 
will be asked again if you want to clear all, so double tap The clear all 
button, and the deleted messages will be, well, permanently deleted. 

Actually, the words deleted messages will be in the first screen even if you 
still have voice mails fair. You can still permanently delete the deleted 
messages in the same manner as above.
