Re: voiceover anouncing clock time every minute

2012-04-18 Thread Eric Caron
Hi Dave,

This happens if you leave the Voice Over focus on the clock. Voice
Over will then keep announcing the time each minute as it changes. Just be
sure the focus is somewhere else and this will not happen. Or if you are in a
situation where you want to keep track of the time then you have the option to
do so. This is probably also what is happening to you with the phone when you
keep hearing elapsed time. This is helpful for those needing to keep careful
time of the usage but if not helpful just change the position of the focus of
Voice Over.

Hope this helps.

 Hi,

I've noticed that if I leave voiceover unattended, like if the phone is in my
pocket and i've just used it, vo will keep saying the time, the clock time,
nearly every minute. Sometimes the screen will have been locked and it still
does this. One time I had left it on my desk, and it was still announcing the
time when I returned half an hour or so later. Does anyone else have this
problem? I'm hoping I'm explaining it right. n

2012-04-18 Thread Jim Barbour
This happens if you leave focus on the time. If you touch the time, listen to
the time, and then don't touch anything else, you will hear the time every
minute.

Hope this helps,

Jim
