I know, I know. But don't worry I don't think this has been asked or solved
yet.

Configuration behind the router:
Linksys BEFSR11 Cable/DSL Router
5 PC's running Windows 2000 Pro
1 PC running Windows NT 4.0 Server
RealVNC ver. 3.3.7
Verizon DSL
No-IP Dynamic IP
No tunneling being used
All systems have latest versions of everything, and everything else is working
fine.

My question:
After upgrading the firmware on the router to 1.45.7 (Jul 31, 2003) I've lost
the capability to connect to the above mentioned PC's via the VNCViewer or the
Java Web based style.

My ports are being forwarded to the respective systems. eg. TCP Port
5902-5902 forwarded to 192.168.1.2, and the display number on that workstation
is 2. Same thing goes for port 5802. MTU setting is @1492. The PassThrough
settings on the router are all enabled

I'm able to ping the WAN ip address successfully.
If I use the Web Based version, and enter the address of
http://host.bounceme.net:5802 the grey login screen appears, I enter the
correct password, and click OK, and nothing happens. (and yes i've
substituted the no-ip host name with the actual WAN IP address and received
the same results)

If I use the VNCViewer and enter host.bounceme.net:5902 or [ip address]:5902
VNC doesn't return an error stating connection has failed, but it also doesn't
display a password box. If I enter the wrong port number it spits Connection
Failed error back at me. So I'm leaning more towards VNCViewer sees the
server, but the server isn't responding, or something's blocking it from
responding.

In house (physically in the room with the PC's and router) the PC's can
connect to each other with no problem. eg. 192.168.1.2:5902 works fine from
any of the other PC's. (Web or Viewer style)

I'm able to connect to other customer's which have different firewalls all
configured by me, and all with the same type of setup. The problem only
resides with this particular router with this version of firmware.

I understand one solution is to downgrade the firmware, which I could do since
I'm in no need of any of the fixes or new features, but I'd like to keep it,
and get it working if possible. Any ideas, suggestions, comments, hints, etc
are GREATLY appreciated.

(p.s. this is my first post to a mailing list, i hope i followed proper
procedures and etiquette :)
